This course is designed to provide participants with a broad survey of theoretical and analytical tools for practical understanding of the concept of “environmental management”. It will assist participants’ build a solid knowledge of environment management.
Course Content includes:
- Introduction to Environmental Management;
- Legislative background to Environmental Management: e.g. Constitutional setting;
- Pollution control;
- Integrated waste water management;
- Environmental Management system: ISOs, Environmental planning- e.g.; IDp’s;
- Tools for environmental management, accounting, funding, integrated approaches;
- Public involvement in environmental management among others.
